Great way to show the beauty and strength of lisp syntax.

Benchmarks are usually somewhat fun.
I like lisps, and Guile is a great lisp that has many use cases. I wanted to see how good is the performance of Guile and came across this post.
This shows that Guile is fast enough for almost all tasks, and so it can serve as an amazing glue/wrapper language where you do most things in. Nature's many attempts to evolve a Nostr
What is the Nostr protocol and how does it work? Why do we need it at all? But this article will not go directly into what Nostr is. First, it will review the types of networks (Centralized, Decentralized, Federated, P2P) and examine their problems. I personally did not know about the existence of something called Superpeer and I did not know that this problem could arise in P2P networks.
I think the Nostr protocol is very interesting. Currently, it is mostly used as a social network, but it is not very popular. Its users are even fewer than Mastodon. But the idea behind it is strong and perhaps other applications will be found for this architecture and protocol. As a matter of fact, there exists a whole repository of "Nostr Implementation Possibilities" that explores this space nips and the implemented apps are available at nostrapps.comConfessions of a Software Developer: No More Self-Censorship
This is a valuable post. 12 years of experience of a software engineer are definitely worth pondering on.
Most importantly, it's a lesson in how keeping an open mind, letting go of your ego and fears. It can help you to analyze your experience more freely, And be honest with yourself.-
I work at a small/medium sized company, And this reinforces both my beliefs on why I don't like working in big companies, and why I want to work in one for a while.
It’s time for modern CSS to kill the SPA
The JS-first web development approach that we are taking is very bad. The web and our browsers are really strong platforms with great performance.
They give us almost anything we need for the web, natively. So we should ditch the overuse of SPAs and go back to good, well engineered MPAsNobody knows anything about AI
I personally never fear AI taking over my job or life. It's just another tool that will help us evolve our work into it's next phase, if used correctly.
But since we know the greed of big corporations and humanity in general, it is probably going to be harmful to us in the long run.Why your website should be under 14kb in size
Small websites are awesome, but this is more than just small websites.
A weird phrase is plaguing scientific papers – and we traced it back to a glitch in AI training data
I Ditched the Algorithm for RSS—and You Should Too
Now I manage my own subscriptions, who I listen to and who I don't, without any centralized platform.
This concept is so freeing. We really don't need algorithms to feed us things. We can choose.-
We are a community of independent and personal websites
Owning your domain and using it as your primary online identity, publishing on your own site first (optionally elsewhere), and owning your content.
This is what motivated me to create my website and change my online presence.
I highly suggest everyone give this time and read it, and create your own meaningful websites.
